The Parents Plus Programme is a practical and positive, evidence-based
parenting course. They are ideal for use with parents in Kerry in that it
allows parents an opportunity to discuss the practical and sometimes
challenging issues faced by parents daily. The course facilitator offers
parents an inclusive confidential and friendly fun space to learn new
techniques and to meet other parents.
An introduction to the Parent Plus early years parent programme is being
organised by Oakview Village Childcare facility in conjunction with Kerry
ETB. It is being funded by the Community Education Programme.
Three workshops will be organised before Christmas.
